As they are opened, they are adjustable, and serve perfectly one size below, or one size above the purchased size, without ruining the design. For example, if you buy a ring in the size 7 (the average size used for the finger ring), with a slight pressure to push away or join the ends, it can easily serve on fingers between the US6 and US9 :)
